Mid-century houses built between 1955 and 1980 line Loomiller's streets on lots up to a quarter acre, with Longmont High School immediately adjacent to the neighborhood. Loomiller Park, at 11th Avenue and Sumner Street, is the area's official city park; county and city park records show no separately named Duck Park here. Kanemoto Park and the Left Hand Creek Trail are a short bike ride south, and downtown Longmont is a similar distance the other way.
