Downtown Nederland
By Jessica Car · Updated April 2026
The walkable heart of Nederland, a handful of blocks centered on 1st and 2nd Streets where eclectic shops, breweries, and the legendary Carousel of Happiness sit alongside a mix of 1940s–1960s cottages, renovated cabins, and a few condo units. One of the only areas at 8,200 feet where you can stroll to coffee, a bus stop, and a trailhead without moving the car. Lots are small and inventory is scarce, but in-town parcels with utilities at the lot line still occasionally surface.
