Plum Creek is Castle Rock's original golf-course community, condos, townhomes, and single-family homes built from 1984 to 2018 around the 18-hole, Pete Dye-designed Plum Creek Golf Club. Sub-areas including Players Crossing, Augusta Pointe, Champion Court, and The Peninsula range from $350,000 condos to $800,000 homes on the fairways, on lots from 5,000 square feet to a half acre. Baldwin Park, a half-acre pocket park on Plum Creek Parkway, supplies two playgrounds and a paved bike path, and the East Plum Creek Trail runs eight miles through the area. Crystal Valley Parkway reaches I-25 in about two minutes, with Plum Creek Boulevard and Highway 85 as local connectors.
