Tantra Park is a small south Boulder pocket of single-family homes and townhomes built between 1970 and 1985, most on lots of 0.10 to 0.20 acres and several sited high enough for open Flatirons views. Its namesake park at 46th Street and Hanover Avenue carries a playground, picnic shelter, multi-use fields, a paved path and a four-pole slackline course, and it shares a property line with Summit Middle Charter School at 4655 Hanover. Harlow Platts Community Park is about a mile southwest, where a 0.7-mile loop circles Viele Lake past a disc golf course and the South Boulder Recreation Center. The Table Mesa Park-n-Ride sits half a mile north on Tantra Drive, and Table Mesa Drive runs west to Broadway in roughly five minutes.
