Minnehaha–Pilot Knob

By Jessica Car · Updated April 2026

A hillside pocket on the south side of town where narrow lanes climb steeply toward Red Mountain. Homes range from tiny 1890s miners' cottages to 1960s–80s ranches, many on compact lots carved into the slope. Pilot Knob Avenue and Minnehaha Avenue form the backbone. Views of Red Mountain and the Incline are a constant presence. Some of the most affordable single-family listings in Manitou Springs surface here, though small lot sizes and steep driveways are the trade-off. Direct Intemann Trail access from several street ends.
