Pine Crest
By Jessica Car · Updated April 2026
A charming historic neighborhood with roots tracing to 1897 when it was developed as Columbine Park, later sold to the Methodist Episcopal Church. Today Pine Crest (centered on Pinecrest Way) is a creekside retreat with hillside views and easy walking access to downtown Palmer Lake. The neighborhood blends original cabins and cottages with renovated and new-build homes, anchored by the Historic Pinecrest event venue, three large buildings from the 1950s Methodist youth camp era now used for weddings and community events.
