A 62-home luxury subdivision approved in 2024 on 350 acres near the intersection of Elbert Road and Hopper Road, northwest of Peyton. Developer Proterra Properties plans 5-acre lots with custom homes averaging $1.4 million, to be built between 2027 and 2032. The land was rezoned from agricultural to rural residential by El Paso County commissioners. Each lot will require its own well and septic system. This is Peyton's most significant planned luxury development, watch for construction timelines to firm up as infrastructure permitting progresses. Adjacent to Homestead Ranch Regional Park.
