Built out between 1994 and 2002 as Thornton's second master-planned community, Signal Creek mixes Traditional, Craftsman, Colonial, and Tudor revival elevations on lots of about 0.12 to 0.25 acres along curving, tree-lined blocks. An Olympic-size community pool, a park with a playground, and a walking and biking trail loop are covered by dues near $42 a month. Signal Creek Boulevard and Signal Creek Drive center the neighborhood around 130th Avenue between Colorado Boulevard and Washington Street, roughly a mile east of Hunters Glen Lake. I-25 is about ten minutes west by way of 120th Avenue.
