West Edgewater / Harlan Street Area

By Jessica Car · Updated April 2026

The western reaches of Edgewater along Harlan Street (the boundary with Lakewood) where lots run slightly larger and the pace feels quieter than the busier eastern corridors. Homes are primarily 1950s-70s ranches and bi-levels, many with detached garages and backyard space uncommon in the rest of this compact city. Walker Branch Park, Edgewater's largest green space at 13 acres with a skate park, playground, and gazebos, anchors the southwest corner. Crown Hill Park in Wheat Ridge is directly accessible. Less walkable to 25th Avenue's shops but more room to spread out.
