North Park Hill
By Jessica Car · Updated April 2026
The central section of Park Hill between 23rd and 35th avenues, a mix of 1930s–50s bungalows, brick ranches, and Denver Squares on a tight residential grid. Homes are typically 1,000 to 2,200 square feet, more modest than South Park Hill but with strong bones: hardwood floors, full basements, and mature landscaping. Active block clubs, community gardens, and neighborhood associations are a defining feature of this zone. The 33rd Avenue corridor has a growing cluster of independent restaurants and shops. More affordable than South Park Hill, with a grassroots neighborhood energy along a tight residential grid.
