Columbine Meadows is a compact two-filing subdivision in east Broomfield rather than in the older core near Sheridan Boulevard. Homes built between about 1970 and 1990 average near 1,500 square feet in split-level and traditional plans on lots of an eighth to a fifth of an acre, shaded by large mature trees. Columbine Meadows West Park and Columbine Meadows East Park both sit inside the neighborhood, and Metzger Farm Open Space is about six tenths of a mile south. Lowell Boulevard forms the western edge and East Midway Boulevard the northern one. The plat falls inside Adams 12 Five Star, not Boulder Valley.
