Brittany Knolls straddles East Trilby Rd just west of South Lemay Ave in south Fort Collins, a subdivision of 1995 to 2010 single-family homes on lots of about 0.10 to 0.18 acres, 2 miles south of Harmony Rd. Fossil Creek Park at 5821 South Lemay Ave is about half a mile north, a community park wrapped around Portner Reservoir with a lake loop path, skate park, dog park, splash pad and the mammoth-themed Tar Pits play area. Prairie Dog Meadow Natural Area, the headwaters of Stone Creek, borders the west side with wildlife observation points along Skyway Dr, and Two Creeks Natural Area follows Fossil Creek and Mail Creek a mile north. The paved Power Trail reaches Trilby Rd about a mile east, and Lemay Ave runs north to Harmony Rd in roughly 5 minutes.
