Timber Ridge is a manufactured-home community on the west side of S Taft Hill Rd just south of W Horsetooth Rd, where the city grid gives way to the foothills. Its homes date from about 1985 to 2005 on manufactured-home lots, and the park's own grounds include swimming pools, basketball courts, playgrounds, and two clubhouses, with internal lanes such as Illinois named for states. Spring Canyon Park is about 0.6 miles west at 2626 W Horsetooth Rd with a splash pad, skate park, dog park, and Veterans Plaza, and Cottonwood Glen Park's fishing pond and the Spring Creek Trail are under a mile northwest on Overland Trail. Pineridge Natural Area and the 1.8-mile Dixon Reservoir loop begin about a mile west, and Taft Hill Rd reaches Harmony Rd in about five minutes.
