Its streets carry sun and pine names, among them Via Los Pinon, Mira de Sol Court and Tierra Alta Drive, holding large custom homes built between 2002 and 2020 on acre plus lots under mature pinon. Access runs on North Crowfoot Valley Road and Woodlands Boulevard, with Founders Parkway a half mile south and I-25 about four miles west. The Woodlands Bowl open space begins nearby, 1.6 miles of paved eight foot trail through scrub oak and mixed grass prairie under a conservation easement held by Douglas Land Conservancy. Metzler Ranch Community Park, 33 acres at 4175 Trail Boss Drive, is under a mile west.
