Roughly 300 homes of 3,500 to 4,000 sq ft, built from the late 1970s into the 1990s, wrap the Eagle Trace Golf Club at 1200 Clubhouse Drive, a public Dick Phelps course with five lakes, 65 sand bunkers, and bent grass greens. The city park inside the subdivision is Eagle Trace North, a half acre of shaded lawn and playground at Red Tail Drive and Peregrine Circle. Main Street borders the west edge and W 136th Avenue runs two blocks north. The club has closed its driving range during drought and irrigates only from natural mountain runoff, with no wells or reclaimed water, so course conditions are worth checking.
