Diamond Ridge Estates sits inside the Castle Rock town limits on the northeast side, a built out pocket of 126 custom homes on one to two acre lots dating from 1969 through 2011. A 90 acre wildlife preserve occupies the center of the 305 acre community, ringed by a private clubhouse with a pool, spa, sports court and tennis. Diamond Ridge Parkway and Diamond Ridge Circle form the loop, dropping about a mile south to Founders Parkway and reaching I-25 in roughly three miles. Gemstone Park, 17 acres of town land at 6145 Sapphire Pointe Boulevard, lies under a mile north with tennis courts and a synthetic turf field. No new construction remains.
