Greenfield was built out by Village Homes over eleven recorded filings between 1984 and 2017, covering about 188 acres of single-family homes and townhomes in east Centennial. The association keeps a clubhouse, pool, and tennis courts, and runs a standing calendar of social events that includes a Fourth of July parade and a fall festival. Public open space here comes from the Trails Park and Recreation District rather than the city, with the 47 acre Piney Creek Hollow Park about half a mile west and Look Out Park and its outdoor pool a mile and a half northeast. Grandview High School stands half a mile south at 20500 East Arapahoe Road inside Cherry Creek School District. E-470 and the Southlands shopping district lie a short run east along Arapahoe Road.
