Estates at Chatfield Farms is a small Century Communities project built between 2014 and 2017, custom and semi custom houses of 3,000 to 3,800 finished square feet on one to two acre horse zoned lots, with four to six car garages and walk out or cellar basements. The High Line Canal runs past the back of the tract, a 66 mile ditch dug in 1883 whose headgate sits 1.8 miles above the mouth of Waterton Canyon, with about 60 miles of its maintenance road now open as trail. Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms is the nearest public open ground. South Santa Fe Drive and West Mineral Avenue are the through routes, and C-470 is about eight minutes away.
