Mid century single-family houses built from 1960 to 1985 make up most of the stock, with condo and townhome blocks carrying dues of roughly $100 to $350 a month. Harlow Platts Community Park at 1360 Gillaspie Drive wraps Viele Lake with a 0.7 mile path, disc golf, tennis, volleyball, and workout stations, and non motorized boats up to 14 feet are allowed on the water. The park borders the South Boulder Recreation Center, the north lot of Fairview High School, and the Southern Hills Middle School fields. Shanahan Ridge Park at 3299 Redstone Lane sits on the SKIP bus line nearer the open space trails.
