Northwood Acres is a 39-home enclave between Indiana Street and W 76th Drive, platted on lots of 1 to 2 acres with two-story, ranch and multi-level homes built from 1971 to 1995 plus a few later custom rebuilds. Above-grade space runs 1,500 to 3,500 square feet, with 2,000 to 4,000 finished, garages of two or three bays either attached or detached, and A-2 zoning on some parcels that permits horses and hobby livestock. There is no master-planned amenity package; mature trees, large yards and the open ground on the western edge do that work. West Woods Golf Club is 2.7 miles south, Standley Lake Regional Park is a few minutes north by car, and Indiana Street (SH-72) reaches US-36 in about 10 minutes.
