Cameo Estates holds 92 homes on 1- to 2-acre parcels between Alkire Street and W 78th Avenue, built mostly from 1964 to 2005 in ranch, bi-level, tri-level and two-story forms of 2,200 to 3,700 finished square feet. Much of the ground carries A-2 zoning, so barns, paddocks and stalls are part of the streetscape, and garages run two to four bays, attached or detached. Van Arsdale Elementary sits at 7535 Alkire Street, three blocks south. In 2026 the city completed an 8-foot detached trail on the west side of Alkire from W 78th to W 80th Avenue, with a pedestrian bridge over the northern canal and a flashing-beacon crossing at 78th, and a 600-foot extension south of 78th is planned to meet the existing Alkire trail. Wadsworth Boulevard is about 10 minutes east, and W 80th Avenue leads west to Indiana Street (SH-72).
