West Woods wraps around the city-owned West Woods Golf Club at 6655 Quaker Street, a 27-hole layout whose Sleeping Indian and Cottonwood nines opened in 1994 and whose Silo nine was added in 1998 and 1999; a remodeled clubhouse restaurant serves seven days a week. The housing stock is mainly two Advocate Homes subdivisions: West Woods Ranch, about 850 two-story, ranch and multi-level homes built from 1993 to 2005 between W 72nd Avenue and Quaker Street on lots of 6,000 square feet to a third of an acre, and West Woods Links, 193 homes from 1996 to 2000 beside the fairways. Above-grade sizes run 1,800 to 4,000 square feet, with larger custom builds along the course. A bike path threads the neighborhood, the 12.5-mile Ralston Creek Trail ends at Arvada Blunn Reservoir nearby, and W 64th Avenue runs west toward SH-93 and Golden, with Wadsworth Boulevard about 10 minutes east.
