Observatory Village is a new-urbanist subdivision from the 1998 to 2010 build era in southeast Fort Collins, laid out with front porches close to the sidewalk, alley-loaded garages, and a mix of single-family homes and townhomes on lots of roughly 0.10 to 0.20 acres. The streets sit east of Lady Moon Drive between Harmony Road and Kechter Road, with a community pool and a small namesake observatory on Observatory Drive at the center, plus a community garden and pocket parks along the grid. Twin Silo Park, the city's newest community park with two real grain silos built into its playground, a BMX track, dog park, and community gardens, is about half a mile west at Ziegler Road and Kechter Road, and Radiant Park adjoins Zach Elementary on the south edge. Ziegler Road and Harmony Road are each about a two-minute drive, and the I-25 interchange at Harmony is roughly five minutes east.
