Craftsman and Colonial Revival elevations stand beside 1970s ranch plans on quarter-acre lots at Lakewood's southwest edge, on unincorporated Jefferson County land with Morrison postal addresses. Two long, narrow greenbelts thread between the houses, carrying trails and little else, and they are Foothills Park and Recreation District property rather than city parkland. Bear Creek Lake Park lies about two miles northwest and the C-470 Bikeway picks up trail miles heading south. W. Quincy Avenue is the local through street, S. Simms Street crosses it, C-470 is roughly five minutes out, and US-285 runs about a mile north.
