Three plat filings recorded between the 1960s and the mid 1980s laid out this single-family tract on lots of roughly 0.12 to 0.25 acres, and the Southern Gables Area HOA still registers with the city from an address on West Iliff Lane. The streets run west from South Wadsworth Boulevard toward South Estes Street across the Iliff and Florida blocks in the 80227 and 80232 zips. Jewell Park sits about half a mile north and Kendrick Lake Park about a mile northwest. Wadsworth Boulevard handles errands along the eastern edge, and US 6 is roughly ten minutes north.
