Meadow Hills wraps around the city-owned Meadow Hills Golf Course at 3609 South Dawson St, a former country club with tree-lined fairways and large lakes that hosted the Denver Open in 1961. Condos and townhomes from the mid-1970s through the 1990s back onto the fairways, with single-family homes on the blocks south of Hampden Ave and a community pool among the amenities. Cherry Creek State Park's east entrance sits just west of Lehigh Ave, opening onto 35 miles of trails, an 880-acre reservoir and a 133-site campground, and Carson Park is about a half mile south. Parker Rd runs along the west edge, with I-225 and the Nine Mile R Line station roughly 5 minutes away.
