Hoffman Heights fills the blocks between Peoria Street, I-225, Colfax Avenue and 6th Avenue, platted as Hoffman Town in eight filings from 1950 to 1955 and annexed into Aurora in 1954. The stock is uniform brick ranch homes on a postwar grid, with the Jewell Heights blocks along 6th Avenue adding later single-family filings. Hoffman Park sits inside the grid, Del Mar Park anchors the 6th and Peoria corner, and Vaughn Elementary stands in the middle of the neighborhood. The Anschutz Medical Campus is directly across Colfax, and the R Line stops at Colfax Station and 13th Avenue Station on the I-225 edge.
