Meadowood

Meadowood is a registered Aurora neighborhood of roughly 1,100 acres between Yale and Hampden avenues, from Sable Boulevard and I-225 east to Buckley Road. City plat records show eight Meadowood filings between 1970 and 1977, so nearly all of the single-family stock is 1970s construction on standard suburban lots. Meadowood Park anchors the middle of the neighborhood on South Laredo Street, sharing its block with Dartmouth Elementary, and the Meadowood Park Trail follows the Meadowood Creek drainage north toward Toll Gate Creek, while the Skate City roller rink on Girard Avenue dates to a 1977 plat. Hampden Avenue reaches I-225 at the west edge in about 3 minutes, and the Central Recreation Center is about a mile east of the Yale and Buckley corner. Schools are Aurora Public Schools, with Cherry Creek boundaries starting south of Hampden, so verify by address.
