Horseshoe Park

Horseshoe Park is a 521-acre Aurora neighborhood north of Iliff Avenue between Chambers and Buckley roads, named for the city park at 2125 South Kittredge Way. It was platted in the 1970s and 1980s under names such as Kingsborough, Stone Ridge Park, Chaddsford and Hearthstone, so its single-family homes and condos are mostly of that era. West Toll Gate Creek runs through the park, carrying the Toll Gate Creek and Cherry Creek Spillway regional trails; the Toll Gate Creek Trail continues 2.5 miles north to the High Line Canal at DeLaney Farm, but the canal itself does not enter the neighborhood. Mrachek Middle School and Rangeview High School sit just east of Buckley and Iowa Elementary just north, all Aurora Public Schools, with the Central Recreation Center 1.3 miles southeast. Iliff Avenue reaches I-225 and the R Line's Iliff Station about 2 miles west, about 5 minutes by car.
