Saddle Rock Ranches is an 81-home equestrian enclave of custom houses on 1.5 to 3-acre lots built from 1990 to 2010, fully built out and resale only. It sits between Smoky Hill Road and Arapahoe Road just west of Saddle Rock Golf Course, and while its 80016 addresses read as Aurora, the subdivision itself, around East Caley Drive, lies inside the City of Centennial rather than Aurora. The community keeps more than 2.5 miles of private riding trails, an outdoor arena, a pavilion with a playground, and pickleball and tennis courts. Cherry Creek State Park, 3,346 acres with 35 miles of multi-use trail open to horses, is about a 10-minute drive west on Smoky Hill Road, and E-470 is 5 minutes east.
