Saddle Rock Golf Club grew up around the city-owned Saddle Rock Golf Course at 21705 East Arapahoe Road, a high-plains links layout with big elevation changes that opened in 1998, made Golf Digest's top 10 new courses that year and later hosted the Colorado Open. Homes went up from 1999 to 2010 in three sections, Saddle Rock North, South and East, mixing condos from the mid $300Ks and townhomes in the $400K to $500K band with single-family homes up to $1M on 0.10 to 0.30-acre lots. Monthly dues of $195 to $225 cover the clubhouse, pool, landscaping and snow removal, and Larkspur Park on East Davies Drive and Ottawa Park in the South section anchor the trail loops. Grandview High and Liberty Middle sit on the community's west and south edges, Smoky Hill Road runs along the north, and E-470 is about a mile east.
