Maple Valley is a 107-home Village Homes subdivision built from 1985 to 1993, entered from Indiana Street at W 69th Avenue, with two-story, multi-level and ranch plans of 1,900 to 3,500 finished square feet and 2- or 3-car garages on lots from 6,000 square feet to a fifth of an acre. An HOA maintains the common grounds and reviews exterior changes. Maple Valley Park sits beside the subdivision at the west end of the Ralston Creek Trail, the 12.5-mile paved route that runs east from Indiana Street to Sheridan Boulevard, and the park is a documented birding site with 97 species recorded. In June 2021 the City Council voted 5 to 2 against an Amazon distribution warehouse proposed on the Indiana Street parcels beside the park. West Woods Golf Course is 2.4 miles away, and Wadsworth Boulevard and I-70 are each about 10 minutes.
