Village of Five Parks sits between Alkire and Indiana streets on both sides of W 86th Parkway, a 640-home community that Village Homes began in 2002 and built out through 2017, with Meritage and Shea filling later phases. Lots run from about 3,500 square feet to a fifth of an acre, and the plan mixes two-story and ranch single-family homes with townhomes and condos around a town center that holds three restaurants and several shops. The Depot, the HOA clubhouse, pairs a pool and splash park with a fitness room, rentable event space and an amphitheater, and Meiklejohn Elementary sits inside the community. The metro homebuilders association named it Community of the Year three times. Standley Lake Regional Park is a short drive east along 86th Parkway, and Wadsworth Boulevard is about 5 minutes away.
