Weatherstone is a sub-association of 294 homes in southwestern Highlands Ranch, just east of Broadway near Wildcat Reserve Parkway, organized in July 1997 as Sanford/Beazer, Virden, and Forest Glen built out the streets through 2003. Plans run about 3,200 to 5,500 finished square feet on lots of 0.15 to 0.25 acres, with three-car attached garages standard. The private pool at 10557 Weathersfield Way, remodeled in 2016, sits on a fenced 2-acre parcel with a splash pool, a sundeck, a covered dining area with gas grills, and two picnic shelters; Pronghorn Park, a Metro District park off Weathersfield Way, is the other gathering point. The Douglas County East/West Regional Trail borders the neighborhood on the south, C-470 is about 10 minutes north on Broadway, and I-25 about 15 minutes east.
