The Retreat at The Links is a cluster of 101 ranch-style patio homes on Greenwich Street and Cresthill Lane in the Eastridge area, about a mile north of University Boulevard beside The Links Golf Course. Built between 1991 and 1996, the homes run 1,350 to 2,000 square feet with one to three bedrooms, two baths, and two-car garages, on compact lots with low-maintenance exteriors. The community began as an age-restricted 55+ community and has since dropped the restriction. Its HRCA assessment is administrative only, so access to the Eastridge Recreation Center on University Boulevard, with its pools and fitness floor, comes through an optional add-on membership, while the 18-hole Dick Phelps executive course next door is open to the public. Dad Clark Park is the nearest Metro District park, Quebec Street leads to C-470 in about 5 minutes, and I-25 is about 10 minutes east.
