Eiber carries the name of George Eiber, a poultry rancher who worked this ground early in the 20th century, and the lot pattern still shows it. Houses run from 1945 to about 1970, ranches, bungalows, and cottages on parcels between a sixth of an acre and a full acre, with the largest still zoned for horses and hobby farm use.
