Lasley occupies south central Lakewood, on the blocks between West Mississippi Avenue and West Jewell Avenue east of Wadsworth Boulevard. Brick houses from the 1950s and 1960s make up most of the stock, with later subdivisions filling in through about 1975 on lots of a tenth to a fifth of an acre. Lasley Park is the center of it, with tennis courts, sand volleyball, and outdoor ping pong tables, and Lasley Elementary faces the park from South Lamar Street. Belmar and its shops are a mile and a half northwest, Sheridan Boulevard is a short drive east into Denver, and US-6 is about two miles north.
