Roughly 450 houses built between 1950 and 1990 sit on lots of 0.25 to 0.75 acres, a scale that has drawn steady remodeling and scrape and rebuild work on the original footprints. North Boulder Park at 800 Dellwood Avenue forms the south edge and hosted the first Bolder Boulder 10K along with stages of the Red Zinger and Coors Classic bike races. West of Fourth Street the street grid gives out and the Sanitas Valley, Dakota Ridge, and Red Rocks trails begin at the Centennial Trailhead on Sunshine Canyon Road.
