Heritage Eagle Bend is an age-restricted 55+ gated community on about 750 acres in southeast Aurora's 80016, built from 2000 to 2015 with patio homes, townhomes and ranch-style single-family homes on lots from 0.08 to 0.25 acres. The Arthur Hills-designed par 72 course winds through the property, and the 35,000-square-foot Grand Clubhouse at 23155 East Heritage Pkwy holds the Eagle's Nest restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center, a library and pickleball, tennis and bocce courts. Beyond the gate, Red-Tailed Hawk Park is under a mile north and Cherry Creek State Park about 15 minutes northwest. Gartrell Rd and Aurora Pkwy border the community, and the E-470 interchange at Gartrell Rd is about 3 minutes away.
