Meadowbrook Heights is a Jefferson County pocket of single-family homes on 6,000 to 10,000 square foot lots, built from the mid 1980s into the 2000s with Lennar filling the newer sections. Most of the streets are wide and free of covenant control, which is unusual for a subdivision this close to a C-470 interchange. Willow Creek Park is a quarter mile north and Wingate South Park about the same distance, while Chatfield State Park, 3,895 acres wrapped around a 1,423 acre reservoir, begins roughly a mile south. West Chatfield Avenue runs along the north edge, Wadsworth Boulevard is two thirds of a mile east, and Falcon Bluffs Middle School is a four tenths of a mile walk.
