Challenger Park Estates occupies Parker's northwest corner off Jordan Road, a 331-home subdivision that Continental Homes built between 2000 and 2003, when demand ran high enough that prime lots were assigned by lottery. Two-story and ranch plans run 2,500 to 4,500 finished square feet over basements with two- and three-car garages. The association owns 55 acres of parks and open space, including Pam Daale Park in the middle of the plat, and dues of about $100 a month cover grounds, trash, recycling, and snow clearing. Douglas County's Challenger Regional Park and the Cherry Creek Regional Trail sit directly south at Lincoln Avenue. E-470 is about 2 miles north, and Mammoth Heights Elementary is about a mile west on Stonegate Parkway.
