Preston Hills is a 140-home Richmond American subdivision from 1997 to 2002, straddling East Hilltop Road between the Salisbury park complex and Iron Horse Elementary. Two-story and three-story plans carry 1,800 to 2,800 square feet above grade and 2,000 to 4,000 finished, nearly all over basements with a few walkouts, on lots from 6,500 square feet to a quarter acre with two- and three-car garages. The association handles common grounds and trash. Iron Horse Elementary and the adjoining 9-acre Iron Horse Park, with three ballfields and the Tallman Gulch Trail along its edge, are a quarter mile east on Tallman Drive, and Salisbury Regional Park with its Cherry Creek Trail link is under a mile west. Mainstreet and Parker Road are about a mile north.
