Horseshoe Ridge sits west of Motsenbocker Road and north of Hess Road, a 324-home subdivision built in phases from 1996 to 2016 by Berkeley Homes and Richmond American, with a later Meritage section along Mimosa Street. Two-story and ranch plans run 2,000 to 4,000 finished square feet on lots from 5,500 square feet to a quarter acre, nearly all over basements and some with walkouts. Dues of about $95 a month cover common grounds plus trash and recycling. Salisbury Regional Park, the Town's 160-acre equestrian arena and ballfield complex, lies about half a mile east across Motsenbocker, with the Cherry Creek Regional Trail just beyond it. Hess Road runs west toward I-25, and Gold Rush Elementary is about a mile west on South Swift Fox Way.
