Beacon Point occupies the southwest shore of Aurora Reservoir, a grid of single-family homes built between 2000 and 2010 on 0.15 to 0.30 acre lots, with a townhome block at the south end near E Arapahoe Road. Beacon Point Park and a smaller pocket park sit inside the subdivision, a paved path with its own underpass runs through the blocks, and the reservoir's 8 mile loop trail begins at the eastern edge.
