Sorrel Ranch is a compact Richmond American subdivision east of E-470 and just north of Southlands, built out between 2005 and 2015 with single-family homes of roughly 2,400 to 3,200 square feet on 0.10 to 0.25 acre lots. Dues of about $80 to $120 a month cover trash, recycling and snow removal along with the clubhouse and outdoor pool at 5738 S Duquesne Court. Buffalo Trail Elementary and Tollgate Crossing Neighborhood Park sit a half mile north, and the shops along S Southlands Parkway begin within a few blocks to the southwest. The Smoky Hill Road ramps to E-470 are about 3 minutes away, and Aurora Reservoir's swim beach and 8 mile loop trail are a 10 minute drive east on E Quincy Avenue.
