Southbridge covers a run of subdivisions and townhome courts built from 1980 through the mid 1990s, mostly two story and ranch plans of 1,000 to 3,000 square feet on lots of 5,000 to 8,000 square feet. The streets curve rather than grid, and three parks sit inside or beside the area: Southbridge Park about a fifth of a mile from the center, then Horseshoe Park and Carbone Park within roughly half a mile. Runyon Elementary on South Elati Street and Heritage High School are each about a half mile out. Mineral Avenue runs along the north edge, Broadway is a mile east, and the Mineral station on the D Line is about a mile west.
