Far Horizons is a 1959 to 1968 subdivision of one-story brick ranches, with a scattering of split-levels, on flat lots of 0.15 to 0.25 acres and no homeowners association, so sheds, patios and outbuildings vary from yard to yard. Far Horizons Park at 8292 Chase Drive holds a ball field and open turf and serves as the junction of the Discovery Trail, an off-street connector that starts at the east end of Lake Arbor Park, passes the park and continues through a greenbelt to W 86th Avenue. Lake Arbor Park itself, with fishing, paddle boarding and a playground on the lake, is about a mile west. Sheridan Boulevard and W 80th Avenue frame the neighborhood, Wadsworth Boulevard is a 5-minute drive, and I-76 is about 10 minutes.
