Historic Olde Town centers on the 15.1-acre Arvada Downtown Historic District, listed on the National Register in 1998 with 42 contributing buildings between Ralston Road, Grandview Avenue, Yukon Street and Teller Street. The blocks around it hold bungalows and Craftsman houses built from 1900 to 1960, with condos, townhomes and mixed-use buildings added near the core, and exterior work in the district goes through the Olde Town Design Guidelines. More than 60 locally owned shops, breweries and restaurants line Grandview and Olde Wadsworth, and the Ralston Creek Trail runs just north of the district toward McIlvoy Park and the 18-hole disc golf course at Memorial Park. Olde Town Arvada Station at 5575 Vance Street, opened in 2019 with a 600-space garage and six RTD bus routes, reaches Union Station in about 21 minutes on the G Line, and I-70 is a 5-minute drive.
